Stop with excuses and workout at the gym 2 times a week. Get healthier. Find a way to tame procrastination and get more things done. Consciously tell myself that it is better to do something okay than not doing because I can’t see the path to perfect. That’s it. Keep living happily with everything else.

I don't recommend trying 2 days per week. For me, doing something EVERY DAY is much easier than trying to maintain 2 a gym-day-schedule.

Last year, I started doing 10 pushups every 90 minutes. It's not strict, but now I do 20 pushups whenever I transition between parts of my day.

I purchased a Yesoul indoor cycle at the beginning of this year. My goal was to sit on that cursed bike for 1-minute every day. And I did. I didn't even pedal some days haha

But after a few months, I was naturally doing 20 minutes per day. I'd hop on the bike during meetings and phone calls or listen to audiobooks.

Next, I purchased some Nuobell dumbells. I'm still in the "5-minutes per day" phase, but my friends and family have already noticed my major muscle gains.

So what's worked for me is focusing on TINY workouts AT HOME. Going to a gym introduces too much friction when you're just trying to get going.

E-mail me at hello@taylor.town if you'd like any support or tips. Good luck!

Earlier quoted context omitted.

That is exactly my experience too. Very poignantly put. At my org they went away to their high towers and decreed that scrum is what we need to solve all our issues. Do you think they engaged with us about challenges, performance etc prior to this? Nope. And any complaints are ignored and all efforts are going towards being Scrum oops sorry I mean agile. (The word scrum is almost verboten despite hiring a Scrum consu…

Haha, you even have a consultancy involved? Don't let this opportunity pass, create some memes for the community. Consultants provide a lot of inspiration... https://awesomegoat.com/blog/assets/meme/agile.png

Play more video games. I feel like this year I haven't had a chance to get lost in a great video game's narrative. Spent far too much time trying to be productive and not just taking a break to relax. Btw if anyone has any suggestions for games to play. Please share.

SOMA's one of my favorites - went into it blind and first played it this year thanks to it being added to Xbox Game Pass. High on Life is good too comedy/style-wise.

God of War: Ragnarok. Preceded by God of War 4 if not already completed.

One of the best progressions for a suite of character in this decade.

For the great narration with stunning visuals and great story, you might like to play Bioshock series. Right now I think they sell entire collection (Bioshock 1,2 and infinite) on sale on Steam.
