It speaks authoritatively ("This song is about...") but appears to draw on the text of the song alone with none of the context available elsewhere. I searched Ben Folds Five's "Brick," which is avowedly a song about abortion. Songtell has no idea, of course, because the allusions in the song are too oblique to be deciphered out of context. I…

ChatGPT also has areas where it can recognize the truth. I agree that some people can hedge their confidence in some areas, but it's not a universal trait that everyone exhibits all the time. I think this shows we're only sometimes generally intelligent.
