Everyone wants accurate updated documentation. Nobody knows how to accomplish this. Whatever the solution is, if one exists, I'm sure it involves a lot of work keeping documentation up to date.
Out of date doc is worse than no doc, because it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy right until you footgun.
