Hi I'm Dale and after kinda programming for 10 years as an ME/EE, I just programmed a whole lot at The Recurse Center for three months and I'm looking for my first FS web dev job. Oh no not another bootcamp grad... No wait me and RC are totally different! I chose to develop React and Django applications because I think they're cool and useful and I'd be good at it and I didn't just get force fed some optimized employment diet to try and land me a job. Plus I'm housebroken - I've worked for 10 years in engineering utilizing a problem solving mindset to break down the problem as a team into manageable bits and go solve it. If you're open to a "Moneyball" hire of someone a little under the radar in terms of experience but would quickly show a lot of smarts and capability, get in touch.

I'm a Frontend Developer that works mainly on ReactJS with Typescript and Redux. Can also work on React-Native for mobile apps and can also help in the backend in NodeJS. Currently searching for interesting full-time(remote) opportunities where I would be a good fit with my experience and provide the most value.

I had a software consultancy business that sells and integrates diverse open-source self-hosted solutions, my main product is odoo ERP, for which I developed lots of modules to adapt it to the Algerian market and the needs of my clients. I also worked on startups as a full-stack web developer.

I emigrated recently to the USA and left my business behind, and would like to resume my coding career and work on challenging problems as a software engineer. I wish to work for a company that tries to make a difference and work on global issues like climate change, sustainable energy, poverty, health, well-being, education, democracy.

I speak Arabic, French, and English.

Any feedback that is not a job offer would be very much appreciated!
