I am a Game Designer, currently working as Solutions Architect, Developer Advocate and Documentation lead. I am happy with my current job, but want one with better compensation and/or benefits. Not accepting temporary contracts because my wife is pregnant and I need something more stable right now.

Currently I have only Brazilian citizenship, but I am attempting to get a Portuguese citizenship too. I am very willing to relocate to Europe (specially Portugal).

Remote is also great.

I am a software engineer within the middle office F/X group that and specifies the creation and maintenance of data analysis tools, distributed systems and pipelines of data to manage post trade data. In a previous role at Coinsailor I helped design and deploy a decision tree recommender for cryptocurrencies in Django.

The languages I have used to create these systems are Python, and Javascript. The frameworks and technologies I have implemented have used Openfin, Flask and Python to interface with the front office F/X team with recording and enriching deals so that the correct information is persisted to various backend systems such as Sierra.

The large projects I have recently created and participated in the design an Openfin desktop application used to debug trade compression with the UI implemented in React and a Python REST interface that serves as middleware which also use Jenkins with Git for CI / CD. Also, I have implemented a feature complete system that allows for same day settlement with our vendor CLS .

I have a hobby of making Chatbots using Python with the Huggingface library. I presented a Chatbot at PyOhio 2021. Using the SpeechRecognition and pyttsx3 (text to speech) Python libraries I interfaced a conversational deep learning model that would have conversations with the user.

Entrepreneurial senior-level software leader with over 15 years of experience and a track record of success. Wide breadth of technology knowledge and business experience. Proven ability to lead teams, solving difficult problems while consistently delivering business results.

SUMMARY:

I've founded multiple successful companies and have several successful 'exits' under my belt. Most recently, I founded and bootstrapped an indie game-dev shop which has designed, built, marketed, and shipped two successful desktop titles -- SimAirport and SimCasino, available on Steam! :)

OBJECTIVE:

I'm currently looking for interesting & challenging opportunities -- especially interested in building & leading high-caliber teams, solving difficult problems, and building real business value. I place a high premium on working with subject matter that I find interesting (some of which includes: AV, rendering/shader/GPU dev, computer vision, simulations, 'IOT', networking, performance/optimization, complex systems & algorithms, hardware/electronics, agent-based AI/behaviors, EVs/solar/energy storage, and more).

I'm generally not looking for "generic web" roles, though I certainly might make an exception if the project subject matter was a great "fit".

Please reach out if you have something that you think might be a good fit! :)

Transitioning from the military with experience in Security, IT, Lean Six-Sigma, Project and Program Management, Risk Analysis, Auditing, and Quality Assurance. Have experience in the Nuclear, Aviation, Education (Military), and Maintenance/Manufacturing industries within the DOD.

My experience with programming is limited, but I'm actively seeking to correct that. Day to day I've used PowerShell and Bash, personal projects are Python, previously had quite a lot of experience working in ATLAS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbreviated_Test_Language_for_...) as an operator with multiple commits to the code base (F/A-18 avionics).

I am open to entry level cleared programming or IT roles; I have no illusions that I deserve a senior position in a field that I'm only somewhat experienced in. For more Security or Business/Operations Analyst or Management oriented roles I would be interested in more senior positions.
