I know you say it's part of the game and all... but nothing prevent you from venting your frustration in a more direct way, even in the hypothetical case your side of the story wasn't 100% true. It's an unhealthy part of the entrepreneur culture to take it on the chin with grace. It's akin to mourning something that just passed away. It sucks and one need to acknowledge it sucks, ideally with others agreeing, before moving on to better things. If I were around, we would be going on a pub tour right away !

I think mourning is the right way to put it! I certainly would've loved that pub tour, too. Hmu if you are in SF lol.

I decided to take this approach because there is no point in getting on someone's bad side. I wanted to tell my story, while still remaining "neutral" towards Substack. Of course I felt many of these things internally, but thats not the important part that others need to hear!
