Humble looses credibility to me if bundles get extended. It would make sense for an initiative, like the current Starlight or a current event, but this... No.

why would it lose credibility?

Perhaps a little too strong of a word, though they are supposed to be time-limited offers. A core principle.

It used to be fun to wait for the bundle to end and see the new one 'unlock'. Or how they now deal different with the highest price. You would wait around and be early. They have been redefining, changing strategies, especially after being 'acquired'. More of the gamification is disappearing. Not necessarily wrong, but having too many bundles at once takes the 'fun' away. The thing that drew me to Humble.

For me, extending the time is an indication that they aren't seeing the numbers they are expecting. Defying the idea this is a 'limited' offering. It takes a core tenet away. What is next to change... The charities?

They are churning out bundles that saturate choice and very likely affect participation. I haven't bought a bundle for over a year now. Lots of my friends say the same. And I think the same for many others.

It becomes more and more a storefront like any other regular bundle offering like Fanatical.
