I usually wait until the '.1' update. There are always some fixes that need to occur with the first rollout and they do a pretty good job of fixing those in the first update.

Which new features are you looking forward to? I expect to be asked by family members whether to upgrade and at this point I can't really recommend it. I will certainly not like the new lock screen stuff but looking forward to editing in iMessage and multiple stops in Maps. Nothing special, but lockdown mode seems interesting. The revoke mail feature seems useless, technical this means that the mail is send some time later, and in this time frame it is possible to revoke? (bringing more delay into delivery)
I could actually see myself using revoke mail, but more on desktop than iPhone. I remember back in the pre-wifi era, I would sometimes realize I forgot something in an email and quickly yank you my ethernet cable. I've tried doing the modern version of this (turn of wifi), but I have never been able to get to it in time. Perhaps I should make a function key that turns off wifi (or force-quits Mail?).

It's very far away! I suppose the fastest thing I could do is sleep my computer, and then turn off the router before waking it back up. But I don't know if a sleep command will interrupt the process of sending a mail message. I suspect it would if a large upload was involved, but I have my doubts about a smaller message.

#19I did, I like the lockscreen features. It’s just a shame that my main use-case is to switch to sleep focus and then it completely blurs that beautiful earth or moon image. I think it would be cool to go to sleep knowing where the day is turning into night.
Oh and with darkmode I had a bright lockscreen and a dark startscreen picture, that seems impossibly now? Where are the dark stock images?
And you can’t reorder the lockscreens, that’s not handy.

Maybe use a hotkey to tell a smart plug to power off? You wouldn't be able to use that to turn it back on with your router being disconnected but that can be done by hand.
