It would represent a true architectural revolution if it ever actually came to fruition. Lots of past discussion on HackerNews over the decade(!) it’s been under development.

Sure, but HN is a great place to get a filtered list based on expert opinion. I love seeing these threads. A lot of things you see here could've been 'Googled', but what's the fun in that?
