I find it odd that these articles are written in English and why they would be even be posted here. Someone was offended what India's 76 years of independence means.

But since this is already here, here's my take.

There's no benefit for a woman to be mother nowadays, let alone being a widower or in an abusive household where the woman needs to rear the children while bearing the brunt of all the violence from the husband, and it's perfectly legal to do that in Russia. I think even abortion is illegal in Russia, correct me if I'm wrong.

Communism didn't emancipate women, as it claims, yet.

What do current laws in Russia have to do with communism?

Family values, something that's being more and more foreign to westerners

Family values, is just a way to brush the dirt under the carpet of sexism, unfreedom, slavery and subjugation of women. There's hidden meaning in the term "family" values, where the mother/wife/aunt/grandmother/female guardian or anyone in the traditionally female caretaker role etc is expected to pull the weight of the burden to run the family.

It is what allowed us to be here today

Without family values, a survival trait, humankind would have disappeared, a bit like how the west is disappearing today, and Asia is rising, we deconstructed everything, including education
