Huh interesting. Frankly I don't need the discount so I don't mind paying. I'm probably getting closer to $1k of value from them so I'm coming out ahead anyway

Is it that valuable to you because you work in related domains ? Or will they be as valuable to any software dev?

The one I was really interested in was about DNS. Something about DNS just hasn't stuck in my brain despite reading about it dozens of time. Annoyingly DNS is actually pretty simple!

But I don't work directly on any of the topics in the zines, I just like to understand things, or at least understand them enough that I can hang information on what I already know.

Just a word of caution from someone who paid a ton of money to a lot of the people mentioned in the article in the last 2 years and was part of more than a few of these communities. Note these are my observations and opinions. - Read any testimonials these people out with a dollop of salt. Success rates seem to be around 1-2%(if you are lucky) with most of the others leaving or barely getting by. Easier to make way m…

- Fluke and becomes guru to boost pseudo trust

- Willing to flood social media. Something is only good in moderate, if everyone doing the same, the ecosystem becomes uninhabitable.

- Willing to be a bullshit person
