Shopify cuts 10% of workforce as tech industry layoffs continue

At least Shopify are being open about the reasons for their layoffs and doing it swiftly. Unlike Facebook who are just going to reduce numbers by managing out a number of employees (either through firing or stressing people out so much they want to leave) by ramping up performance targets.
