I would recommend everyone read Psychology of Intelligence Analysis by Richards Heuer

I studied psych with partially clinical psych. It’s not the way to go IMO. You have little training in practical persuasion and practical communication. It’s mostly theory that has become questionable in its truthfulness due to the publication crisis and similar crises.
