Philadelphia is about twice the size of San Francisco, which has outsized visibility in our political culture but is in fact about the size of Nashville. Chesa being thrown out on his ear just means a slightly more moderate liberal will be installed in his place. Your belief that this represents a swing to the republican party is outlandish and deranged. This is San Francisco we're talking about.
