#2I’m interested in supporting this project, but I don’t want to just be a passive donor. I wish they were doing something like a Patreon project, with levels of engagement that come with my donation.

#3The last time this topic came up, I asked a friend who's a retired petroleum geologist about it. She said that geothermal is real and drawing some serious attention.
So I'm suspicious of any outfit that puts "Donate" on their front page. It's not a philanthropic endeavor anymore.
