Similar is the buckminster fuller "dymaxion" globe

Similar in that the Fuller's Dymaxion maps (there are at least three different versions) used polyhedral projections, though the original was a cuboctahedron and the later versions used a regular icosahedron, while this Paper Globe uses a particular 32-gon.

There aren’t that many ready to build, so I made this one: https://www.idm314.org/resources/posters/idm314-2021-foldabl...

Would you care to share any details on how you made it?

I have a back-burner project to make one out of hardwood on a CNC, which potentially requires a custom generator.

I didn’t do the map itself. I used a CC licensed black and white version that was around which I recolored and added the tabs for folding. :-/
