Doesn't seem to be at the top of HN; it was just posted, so maybe you were seeing at the top of /new ?

And doing some digging, trying to find more about "reclaimthenet.org" just brings up posts by others wondering the same. They appear to be entry #91598123812 in a long list of conservative/libertarian "we're the real victims, here!" "news" websites, featuring the usual "And just why SHOULDN'T i be allowed to shout fire in a crowded theater??" misunderstandings of freedom of speech, sprinkled with some ostensibly fair "google tracks you!" articles

None of what you said is a full debunking of the evidence mentioned in the article or even the leaks that PV has released about Twitter; starting with the Twitter all hands video which none of the videos still haven't been directly debunked or refuted.

At best, your comment is mixture of quick deflections, starting with a typical ad-hominen which is even irrelevant, followed by an outright denial of what was presented in the video and an attempt to escape and dismiss the post as a 'rumor' after the release of the leaks with a direct confession recorded on video.

So can you show me a full debunking of both, if not all the evidence presented by PV about Twitter starting with the all hands video leak, assuming you have watched all the video leaks?

1. Their political leaning isn’t relevant. Are you saying you will only take this seriously if it’s posted by an overtly left leaning outlet?

2. This is a senior engineer. Do their comments about internal practices not matter at all?

3. Where is the rumor? It’s a video. Is this a deepfake we are watching? Are we hallucinating?

It is probably related more to the long and well documented history fraud and other crimes that Project Veritas has committed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Veritas#Incidents

The founder should have served hard time for the Mary Landrieu incident alone.

I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted, that is very literally their entire focus to chop and selectively edit things to remove all context and repackage them in the most partisan format possible and has been since the start.

It’s such a fundamental thing that it’s literally one of the first things we tell children about through fairytales like the boy who cried wolf.

Hardly - putting someone in jail for going into a federal building under false pretenses? That's pretty darn close to just trespassing to me.

I feel I have no strong biases one way or the other - I've only just heard of this media outlet, but from the list of incidents it looks like they're just doing _actual_ investigative journalism and digging for answers instead of just copy-pasting from AP Newswire and adding a politically preferred spin to it like other outlets.
