At first I thought you misspelled "amor fati" which means "Love your Fate", popularized by Nietzsche. For me this phrase helps me look at my childhood (trauma) and my more recent life choices, in a positive way. Something like "things happen for a reason" or "what does't kill you makes you stronger".
