#2I wouldn't say I liked it when they changed their name to Basecamp. Glad they are going back to 37signals as I always associated them with that name anyways since I have always used one of their products from time to time.
I'm not too fond of their new website design at all.

The products were always under one company, the company was just named the same as their main product.

#6Interesting, given that it's close to the one-year anniversary of over a third of the company quitting due to a massive change in the company culture.

Overall, seems like a lot of ceremony for a company whose entire business is two web apps.

I think there may some advantage to distancing themselves from the company name they had when 1/3 of their employees quit in one day.

#8I was truly dismayed and shaken by the events of ~1 year ago and the bizarre manner in which they conducted themselves. I honestly looked into migrating off of both HEY and Basecamp for my business. In the end, I held my nose and stuck with both. Why? Because in their specific markets with their specific feature sets, nothing compares. So while I continue to have a major bone to pick with the leadership of 37signals, I must admit they know how to create worthy products.
