Apple, Inc.

We’re perfectionists. Idealists. Inventors. Forever tinkering with products and processes, always on the lookout for better. Whether you work at one of our global offices, offsite, or even at home, a job at Apple will be demanding. But it also rewards bright, original thinking and hard work. And none of us here would have it any other way.

Where do you see yourself at Apple?

-- Siri — Apple’s Siri is looking for exceptional engineers, designers, and project managers well versed in machine learning, natural language, speech recognition, server automation, and/or mobile software development. Siri is used on countless iOS, tvOS and watchOS devices and handles over a billion requests per week. Note that in addition to Cupertino, we are hiring in many locations such as Seattle, Pittsburgh, Beijing, Cambridge MA and Cambridge UK too.

If you’re passionate about Music, Productivity, or one of a variety of our open positions, you’ll be right at home.

Sunroom | Full-Stack & Front-End Engineers | LA or REMOTE (LA +/- 3hrs) | Full-time | https://sunroom.so/

Sunroom is the app where women and non-binary creators make money. Our mission is to reduce the stigmas and restrictions women experience when monetizing themselves online. We're a small team of 10 building a creator monetization platform.

If you like having a lot of product ownership, shipping quickly, and having the freedom to learn things, Sunroom will be a good fit for you!

Tech stack: front end is React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and a fair amount of native Swift code. Back end is Nest.js (TypeScript), Go, and a little Rust. DevOps is AWS: Fargate, Postgres, and Kubernetes.

You'll be working on some of the more challenging areas of our product — on-demand video delivery, our DRM and invisible watermark systems, our video player, + a bunch of exciting creator revenue features we have on the roadmap.

Ok I will bite. 1. What happened to the official whoishiring bot [1]? 2. We are still 30 min from the official first weekday posting time. 3. Why are you posting this? [1] https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=whoishiring

To be honest, it was a post made in naïveté. I didn't know that this thread was run on a script or that it happened on the first weekday, honestly.

This was not karma farming at all. Just me not knowing how the thread was handled and growing impatient not having seen it. My bad. Please don't throw stones.
