I'm currently an intermediate engineer working on payments integrations, with some background doing more full-stack work. I like core/infra work, and I'm primarily looking for a role at a firm which is either directly integrated with or adjacent to my primary interest, capital markets

Greetings everyone. My name is Ron Kelley, and my passion lies in infrastructure deployment and support. My current gig recently transitioned from an active to passive role (thanks to automation!), and it's time to find the next exciting opportunity. I am looking to partner with a team that needs part-time (on demand) help with deployment and support activities including automation, infrastructure config/mgmt, scripting, firewalls, etc.

Give me a shout if you are struggling to keep up with the your deployment/support activities or just need some part-time help with product support. Let's see how I can help offload some of your burden...

  Technologies:
    - Infrastructure (on-prem, cloud, networking, storage, virtualization, etc)
    - Automation (Ansible, Bash, Python)
    - Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu)
    - Firewalls (pfSense, VPN, Wireguard, etc), storage systems

  About me:
  - Industry veteran skilled in deploying and managing on-prem and cloud-based architectures.
  - Deep knowledge in networking, storage, virtualization, firewalls, VPNs, system monitoring, etc.
  - Hard skills - Ansible, Python, Bash, Linux (Debian/RHEL), IPMI/iDRAC, pfSense, BTRFS/ZFS

  About you:
  - Need a partner that can help get your architecture production ready (network/security best practices, etc)
  - Have questions about on-prem or cloud hosting technologies and need an outside point of view
  - Can't justify hiring a full-time engineer but need someone to help manage an existing deployment
Thanks!
