Kevin Rose just raised $60M+ this weekend[1], so unlikely that the NFT market is "crumbling." [1] https://cryptobriefing.com/moonbirds-set-to-bring-in-66m-as-...
I think you mean $75M. 10,000 moonbirds * 2.5 ETH * $3,000 https://moonbirds.xyz/ (EDIT: Saw the post; that's only PROOF and only half of them. There's 10,000 total and all will be minted for 2.5ETH)
Jack Dorsey’s $2.9M NFT dropped 99% in value

Ah yeah, the post is about PROOF not moonbirds, I'll find a right one. One of those mornings, just had my coffee :)

Yes, at some point too ICO were raising hundreds of millions of dollars. Can you point me to a single ICO were "investors" actually made money on the long run?

Most NFTs are probably a scam, but I was just arguing against the specific point of the article that the market is "crumbling."

#17So was it a NFT pointing to a hosted image, or a URL to the actual tweet permalink? The latter being marginally less ephemeral than the former.
But neither would encompass any kind of "ownership".

#19I genuinely don't know since most of my knowledge of NFT stuff comes from people commenting it vs. primary sources, but are there very active markets for NFTs in general beyond initial offerings? Like is there an active, healthy and functioning market for BAYC, or was it more about an initial rush and now a bunch of people have tokens that have value on paper but no market to realistically sell them?

Absolutely agree. Nothing more to add than I tell everyone I know who mentions NFTs this so they do not get scammed.
