Being unable to tolerate drinking alcohol is the norm, not the other way around. There are a lot of people around the world who have an alcohol intolerance or "allergy", interestingly the exact same effect you experience when taking this drug. In my experience disulfiram is only useful with people who are motivated to quit drinking. Forcing alcoholics to take disulfiram is asking for catastrophe.
