SEEKING WORK | East Coast USA | REMOTE

I am a 20+ year experienced developer.

Most of my work has involved embedded development (Linux, RTOS, baremetal, C/C++/uPython), including various forms of networking and distributed systems, audio/video, as well as backend services (usually using Python, Django, and Go), deployments (AWS, DO, Ansible, Docker, etc). I also do iOS and Android development. I do some frontend work, but that isn't my specialty.

I love helping people develop new products to meet their goals and needs, especially with a focus for getting it in use and making money as soon as possible to demonstrate utility and make money. I also have extensive experience taking over existing legacy codebases

I am available for part-time or full-time contract work, long-term or short-term. I would love for every project to turn into a lasting business relationship.

SEEKING FREELANCER | REMOTE (but we're in the Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA area)

Impact Upgrade's calling is to be behind the scenes, using tech to enhance a nonprofit's reach and sustainability, as well as reducing the distractions and stress on missional leaders. Services include a mix of consulting, systems integration/analysis/admin, data management, ongoing support, "virtual CTO", and engineering.

We're in need of additional help to manage a wide variety of tools, analyze existing systems and design more efficient solutions, and directly support organizations. There are certain areas that come up frequently and we're looking for specialists on part-time contracts!

- Salesforce, but not as a development and communication platform. We typically limit it to the database, reporting tools, process automation, etc. If you understand schemas and Object Builder, Flow, basic Apex, basic permissions/roles/profiles, data imports/migrations, and commonly-used rules, we'd love to chat.

- HubSpot, typically focused on the basics + Workflows.

- WordPress, not as a web designer or content manager, but the ins and outs of plugins, hardening, and untangling.

We're also looking for support roles to help us onboard and maintain other commonly-used platforms: Twilio, MailChimp, SendGrid, Stripe, Trello/Monday/ClickUp/Asana, Zapier, etc.

(Although it'd be a little different in this setup, here's a full-time job description that at least gives an idea of the types of things we're looking for: https://www.impactupgrade.com/hiring#consultant)

Please contact: Brett Meyer, brett@impactupgrade.com
