I've spent the past few years working at an ISP building automations and internal network reliability tools. I know impeccable JS, solid C and enough verilog to be dangerous. I'm very full stack, I will happily hack together a C backend that serves up a web GUI for tuning your galvo-control-FPGA. I am very good at dealing with problems I haven't dealt with before. I've been working on some motion control stuff in my free time in addition to designing a 3D-printable handheld spectroscope with a $30 BoM. I'm comfortable with CAD and CAM and I can safely work most of your garden variety CNC tools. On the EE/embedded side of things I don't claim to know any of the black magic but I've reverse engineered enough garbage hardware that it doesn't worry me. I can copy paste reference designs just as well as the next guy.

I'm looking for opportunities where my broad set of skill will be relevant to a small team, especially exciting would be anything involving 3D visualization and optics hardware.

P.S. I can also paint.
