That's the point. The iPhone 6 was revolutionary at the time, and not everyone wants to use Face ID.

True, but you could still have a TouchID button on the side. I get price is the main reason, I'm just saying that I personally wouldn't want to be rocking a device designed in 2014 in 2027.

Watching the Apple event brings up a question for me. I know nothing about sign language. They have to make new words for different technical fields as new words and technologies get created. I am curious to know how difficult it is to come up with a new sign, is there enough "entropy" for it? I also wonder what the process is. How does one agree upon the sign for a word and how it's codified and disseminated?

Like your legs don’t stand that far apart normally; the announcer right now seems to literally need to constantly shift her legs to keep her standing stance so wide. I’ve noticed this a couple of other places too; is some body coach teaching the weirdest crap out in California right now?

It's a power stance, they are asserting dominance over the feeble audience to whom they are selling $5000 computers

Nice chip. Its only problem is that you pretty much have to run macOS on it.

I noticed this too with a couple of the presenters. I wonder if it's some advice from their presentation consultants.

One thing I wonder is if their software is up to the challenge of being used in a box with 10ge and thunderbolt and whatnot. My M1 mac mini loses its mind if it has wifi and a crossover ethernet connection to a PC. The wifi link flaps up and down constantly in this condition. If I connect the mini to a PC over thunderbolt, "bridgeos" whatever that is will panic and the machine reboots. It's all a bit fragile.
