Re: Spotify was down
#42The painful bit was that I got automatically logged out with all of those "offline" songs. Is it a feature or a bug? IMO if there was no logout then many clients would just keep playing the cached songs, and people would not notice a disruption that much.

I'm not sure what you're suggesting. Russia doing something to disrupt GPS? NATO switching GPS to combat mode? What?
No, Russia is likely jamming GPS. It’s a somewhat frequent occurrence even before the war.

#46There are disruptions in GPS signals in Eastern and Central Finland as well. [1] No prizes for guessing the most obvious culprit. [1] https://yle.fi/uutiset/3-12348237

Dunno if "combat mode" GPS is a thing anymore with GLONASS etc.

> You don't own media, you just pay for the right to listen/see it. A subtle but important difference Explain please, in what way do I not own the media I bought? EDIT: responding to your edit: > Now of course, technically, Warner can't go after your CD collection and non-technically, what's the "subtle but important" difference here?
You own the physical media but not the data (song) that’s stored on it. That’s literally what copyright is: the right to copy. You don’t buy that right when you buy the CD.
