Note: I am seeking a part-time arrangement of no more than 15 hours per week.

I’m a full-stack developer with 10+ years of experience. I specialize in web development using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and other related technologies. In 2020, I returned to school to pursue a new career as a marriage and family therapist and I'm now seeking an ongoing, part-time arrangement of about 15 hours per week to see me through the next several years of this journey.

See my GitHub profile for several active, open source projects I'm working on: https://github.com/mgmeyers

I want to be hired! If you urgently need to spend a part of the internal budget or it won't be renewed for next year, I am the right person for the task. Just hire me, I will just (remotely) sit in a metaphorical corner and do nothing. Hell, I might even help doing something sometimes. Contact me: hn@ceu.su !

Location: Central Asia (but it doesn't matter)

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: none

Résumé/CV: on request

Email: hn@ceu.su (real email)

Part-time/contract work only, please. At this time I am not open to full-time employment.

I'm a generalist software developer, having done a lot of full-stack web work, and also a lot of low-level coding.

I'm a past Director, VP Incubator, and VP Legal Affairs at the Apache Software Foundation. I was the original author of a moderately successful open source C search engine library project (Apache Lucy, now retired). I'm an inveterate organizer of study groups, and an occasional presenter (Papers We Love, ApacheCon, OSCON, etc).

I know you state you're not willing to relocate. I just want to say that the tech job market/pay is terrible in the Philly region. I worked there straight out of college and it has really stunted my career. There are very few jobs above the national median ($110k).

Hey, I'm Ron! I got my start in accounting/bookkeeping, moved into a controller role, and recently left a F/T position in business/revenue operations to chase something more analytical & tech-focused. The exact role is less important to me than the nature of the work and the people I'd be working with -- I enjoy back-end, front-end, and particularly any role in which I can drive decision-making around analytics.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (moving to Atlanta, GA in the next few weeks)

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: For the right opportunity, absolutely

Technologies: JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js / Deno, Go, Python, light C++, React / React Native, Next.js, Svelte / SvelteKit, SQL (Postgres / MySQL / SQL Server), MongoDB, GraphQL, Tableau & Salesforce. Also have some design chops (Sketch, Adobe suite, etc.)
