Wouldn’t all crops die worldwide and humans would not have anything to eat unless they had some greenhouses or something?

That's to be expected that both Russia and the US put their ICBMs on hair-trigger alert.

This crisis is basically a replay of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis but in reverse. US missiles being too close to Russia today, rather than Russian missiles being too close to the US in 1962.

What many people don’t know is that USA had missiles placed close in Turkey and removed them as part of their deal. It was declassified 25 years later.
