#2Yes. And MC personally replies to each email I send, which is refreshing since most services offload support to a separate paid-for service.

#3Never. I tried for a few months sending a dozen or so emails. I tried emailing from multiple accounts (thinking maybe my personal domain was going to spam). I tried getting a response on twitter (before he 'quit') and did. But then he never followed up again after that.
I prepaid for a multi-year account with archiving and I don't get archiving at least not on 80-90% of my links. Seems that if I copy from 'popular' there is usually an archived copy, but otherwise I'm stuck.
I'm open to solid alternatives if anyone has suggestions.
Edit: Just to note I created this HN account just to make this comment. I've never felt the need to comment before, but this is SO frustrating to me.
