It feels like HN still upholds the early promise of the internet (along with Wikipedia and very small number of other websites). But what will the next 15 year bring about?
Possibly people wishing the internet was back like it was in 2022, :D

Why did it collapse? I use reddit from time to time, but never for programming related stuff.
Did read HN for quite a while, not 15 years though and started spamming it just a few years ago.

#68I think what I owe to this place is me transforming from a dumb fellow who would say "This ${shiny_thing} solves world hunger & ${everything_else} is wrong!" to "Yeah, naah ... everyone has a point of view and is right from their vantage point"

#70I've been coming here daily since 2018, before that I use to go to /g/. Difference is that over here I can get insights from highly intelligent people without being called a ret*d.
