#4I should be able to roll stops signs without issue on my bicycle if Teslas are able to do it.

#5Says a guy who is short on Tesla, but despite that conflict of interest, the video looks real. I mean if he had managed to modify his car firmware to make it less safe just to fake that video, that would also be a huge Tesla safety issue.

Pretty sure most of you do....
Cue the Boston driver jokes on the Tesla, but that’s just really bad driving there. I do not expect them to get usable self-driving for another 10-15 years at least.

But, okay, let’s roll with that: after that video, you expect “the guy” to be long Tesla? There’s the avoidance of “conflict of interest”, and then there’s “I should not be left alone with large sums of money”.

It's the same with following the speed limit on roads where everyone speeds. Nobody is going to like self driving cars if they're going 25 on a road where everyone goes 40, where the speed limit should clearly be adjusted. The accidents that occur from drivers not being able to stop for a slow car in time, drivers getting annoyed and attempting to overtake, or drivers causing road rage incidents will dwarf whatever crash rate you'd get by just letting the car go faster.

Because we can all play this game. It's a very silly one, and I'm honestly concerned that the SEC, FCC, and other regulators have the same issue - the people who are suppose to be regulating companies have stocks, and those stocks affect their judgement in much the same way that Pelosi and other prominent politician-traders would never vote against their stock portfolios.
