4Runner/Fortuner/Hilux are all significantly capable vehicles, just slightly less heavy duty than the land cruiser. They aren’t built to circumnavigate Africa quite as much (or to serve the ego of whatever local UN office is prading it around in a developing country) but will do most everything else off road for half the price, and with a healthy aftermarket of higher end components if you want to enhance capabilitie…
Yep, and with downgrade 300 turns in a just 2 times more expensive version of 4Runner for no extra benefit.
