Why is the date picker filled with possible birth years in the future — all the way up to 2072, all greyed out and unclickable? That makes the UI more cumbersome for no good reason.

This calculates my age incorrectly. The diagram shows the number of years I've lived as about 3 years less than my true age. It's kinda disappointing when the site literally has one job — to calculate my age — and it doesn't get it right.

It calculated mine correctly. Is it reproducible? If so, give a sample date of birth.

April 91 shows between 28 and 29.

If you don't select the day on the calendar widget (which is somehow easy to look over) then it seems to calculate your age as if you were 30 (from 1992). No error message, not using the year and month you set and either 1 or the current date for day, not disabling the start button.

This is a nice example of when you won't find a bug in your own app because you know how to use it :)

My experience was so much worse. I was born in 1967. My son was born in 2009. We both have 61.53737504% of our expected lifespan remaining.

We used different browsers, but the same machine.

I am not making this comment, because, per thedeathclock.co, I have -1.6% of my time left; and per www.deathclock.com, I died in 2016. So obvs. I am not typing this.

I think there's a bug, if you put in a birth date in the 1930s for the USA, it says you have negative time remaining.

Makes sense to me. Consider that at 91-92 years you will have exceeded the expected number of years for your cohort.

> Makes sense to me.

That a person alive now is expected to die in the past?

> Consider that at 91-92 years you will have exceeded the expected number of years for your cohort.

The correct method for estimating remaining life is using life expectancy at current age not life expectancy at birth, since you want to know how long one is expected to live given that they have not, in fact, died already.

At 92, life expectancy is 3.54 years for a man, 4.2 for a woman, not some negative value.
