Having just read it, this sounds like a mental health issue to me. It's well outside the bounds of opinion, even a ridiculous or hateful opinion. I worry that people are running to mock this guy because they want to portray these views as the kind of things their opponents actually think, while in reality there is clearly something wrong with him and he may need some compassion. This is not a fringe opinion, there is…

Will you please stop lumping vast groups of people together as if they share a hive mind? That's like saying every Democrat on the planet lives their lives by the tenets of the 1619 project. It's ridiculous.

It really isn't. Most on the far right are very very very pro-Israel.

The far right is a pretty splintered group, and when you look even a little to the right of principled centrists you quickly get into serious horseshoe political theory territory. The 'Bush republicans' are very pro-Israel, but the 'election was stolen, covid is a conspiracy' post-Trump republicans aren't from that generation and aren't nearly as rational.

I know people use “unhinged” a lot but if you read that email it is genuinely off the deep end. It’s like satire of what a racist dude would write.

The proper spelling and grammar threw me. Usually crazy writing is sloppier and weirder.

This man is seriously unwell. This wasn't just normal politics - This was deep conspiracy theory nonsense. The fact that he thought others would appreciate the message is further proof that he is in the midst of a serious crisis. He has completely lost touch with reality. Unfortunately, being a wealthy ex-CEO and ex-pat living in another country, away from his former social circles, has likely removed all social supp…
