Hi, HN.

I'm an intermediate level developer that's been programming for seven years, two of which professionally. I pride myself in my back-end work, but have experience with a wide variety of software development topics and technologies.

My most recent project is Decent, a censorship-resistant chatroom application that utilizes the Nano cryptocurrency network to allow for immutable communications to take place without the use of a central server. By using a block lattice network, users can send long messages to one another at relatively quick speeds for millionths of a dollar's value on a network which is near impossible for bad actors to block access to or modify.

If you're a startup or small company doing interesting work in need of out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving skills, I'd love to talk.

Recently graduated, have been working as a Machine Learning Engineer for the past few months at a Fintech company that provides BNPL(Buy Now Pay Later) financing. I am looking for jobs that would allow me to work with people who are well versed in the field of Machine Learning Engineering or to an extent Data Engineering. Although I am a recent graduate I consider myself a quick learner and my passion to get my hands dirty in data ensures that I would perform my jobs with due diligence and interest. My communication skills have been praised by my peers and my ability to work under pressure ensures that the task gets done no matter what. I also have experience in building MERN stack web apps and mobile applications using React Native but I'd really prefer something Python and ML based. Thank you for reading.

Whilst I am a strong technical contributor, I'm also interested in leadership, mentorship and learning. My favourite challenge recently has been leading a highly motivated and skilled team of SWE, AI Researchers and Data Scientists. I'm interested in a position where I can continue working with strong co-workers and help mould and lead strong, productive and happy teams. I also love learning and being surrounded by people from different backgrounds and fields to me. I've had exposure to bio-tech and NLP, but would also be interested in other ML fields, robotics, health, eco/green energy, and probably more.

Sadly, I can only accept roles that would be able to provide me with a Canadian Work Permit, which likely excludes many US-only based companies.
