#2Richard McElreath's content is a breath of fresh air for anyone who's struggled with stats.
I read both editions of his textbook and will be revisiting this new lecture material soon. I highly recommend you check out his book/course if you've been frustrated with trying to learn stats and want to practically understand things without hundreds of pages of proofs.

#3The book for this course is a fantastic practical introduction to Bayesian statistical modeling. If you've ever been curious about probabilistic programming give it a shot.
Also if you're rusty in probability and worried about prerequisites, Harvard's Stat110 can serve as a very good foundation (book and lectures are free online).

Yes. I've read the first half of the book and it can be read without any deep statistical inference knowledge at all. But it is important to know about linear regression.

#6I started my Bayesian journey with his book which is fantastic, and if you're still interested, I highly recommend anything by Andrew Gelman. His lectures are captivating and he drops nuggets of intuition every other sentence. He also has at least one very highly regarded book on Bayes and a great website on stats and reproducibility (statmodeling.stat.columbia.edu).

#7Maybe the title should reflect that this is a newly released version (previous was 2019)?
Like many, I found Richard's lectures to be fantastic to get better intuition about the underlying processes. This course + Think Bayes[0] by Allen Downey did more for my statistical literacy than multiple college + graduate courses.

This is actually co-written/edited by Joe Blitzstein, who teaches Harvard's Stat110. What originally sold me on taking a look is this snippet from the foreword:
"This book is primarily a teaching tool, and thus we are not very concerned with proofs unless they promote understanding...There are no Statistics or linear algebra prerequisites."

Honestly? “In all likelihood” by Yudi Pawitan .
It’ll make you go “oh wait, there’s multiple ways to do stats and Bayes isn’t a silver bullet”.
