It tend not to set too many aspirational objectives as circumstances outside your control (think 2020, 2021) can end up in failure which is demotivating so I throw myself a new 4 week target every 4 weeks and work towards that. To note I never mix my work objectives with personal ones. That can lead to all sorts of problems as I learned over the last 20 years or so.
