#5There isn't a lot of choice, is there? At least not out of mainstream movies. I only saw Dune and Matrix Resurrections. Dune was okay, not amazing by any means, and it's also half a movie. Resurrections was garbage in every possible way.
Last Night in Soho looks interesting, I guess? I haven't seen it yet but I like Edgar Wright's movies.

Well, yes, if you consider only two films (both scifi), there isn't much choice. Believe it or not there were more films, and even some in other genres, released in 2021.

This is actually the reason I am asking. Haven’t heard of too many good small, independent films this year. Hoping to find some.
