We're seeing issues with EventBridge, other folks are having trouble reaching S3.

EC2 at least seems fine but the console is definitely busted as of 16:00UTC

EC2 or S3 showing red in any region literally requires personal approval of the CEO of AWS.

Uhhhhh... what if the monitoring said it was hard down? They'd still not show red?

This is more than just east. I am seeing the same error on us-west-2 resources.

Can't access Lightsail console even though our instances are in a totally different Region.

This got me thinking, are there any major chat services that would go down if a particular AWS/GCP/etc data centre went down? You don't want your service to go down, plus your team's comms at the same time.

Slack going down is a godsend for developer productivity.

Status service is probably hosted in us-east-1

It's related to east-1, looks like some single point of failure not letting you access east-2 console URLs
