#32"a rocket fueled self-hosted digital library" - what does it mean that it's rocket fueled...?

#33If it could download "to-read" books/manga onto local storage and then sync page numbers when you connect to wifi that would be amazing.

#34UI with minimalism, open source and cross-platform (Win, Lin, Mac) -- what's not to like about it?! And a great name too. Kavita means poem or poetry in Sanskrit and pretty much all Indic languages. I'm sure others will point out the pros/cons vis-a-vis Calibre reader. But each serves a different niche. This one seems particularly geared towards comics. So cannot expect all the bells and whistles of Calibre.

Interestingly, in Semitic languages Kavita means writing or written things.Re: Kavita – Self-hosted digital library which supports a vast array of file formats

#38Speaking of libraries, does anyone know a minimalist amateur library software a hackerspace could use? We currently only have a few books, but the list could as well grow and it would be nice to have a webpage that would help us track who brought / borrowed what.

#39Could it then be used as a public library of one's own works?
