#28I misinterpreted the headline the mean that the city was continuously surrounded by roads, e.g. a wild animal trying to reach the city could not without crossing a road somewhere.
I don't know what timezone you're in, but maybe you need a cup of coffee?

I'm not at all familiar with the area. Are there really only 3 roads between Vancouver and the rest of Canada without going through Washington? That seems like such a low number.
