A properly run company like GM or Ford? Tesla is a unique company and offers a unique products. It is totally reasonable if you don't want to buy one, but for many of us, it is the best deal and the best car we have ever owned.

That move is a proof of poor and low practices. I don't like Tesla but I am surprised since I was putting them at "Apple" league, but it seems like they little to no considerations for their customer. I'm not saying you should buy one. I'm saying I have one and it is by far the best deal of any car I have ever bought. I could sell it right now for 5k more than I paid for it.
