I hate to take Meta's side, but enabling video is inviting discrimination and hate speech. Enabling audio alone has proven to be enough to bring out the worst in people online.
Voice mixers and avatars will result in a much more even experience for everyone involved. Emoting through an avatar will make that experience richer.
