#3Does it work with GL 2.1? Also, with equirectangular (think Street View) PNG/JPG images for example? I can use imagemagick to convert those to GIF, OFC.
EDIT: It works with -loop 0 but it's very slow compared to FSPViewer.

#5Does it work with GL 2.1? Also, with equirectangular (think Street View) PNG/JPG images for example? I can use imagemagick to convert those to GIF, OFC. EDIT: It works with -loop 0 but it's very slow compared to FSPViewer.
May you also try latest VLC (Desktop & Mobile) with same files for comparison?[0]
