Weren't the charges completely made up in the end? The US government looks pretty fake and corrupt to be honest. US secret service made a joke of themselves with accusation of Russian interference, I don't know how anybody can take their statements seriously. They work on the level of toddlers with amateurishly crafted evidence.

What a disgrace that hole case is. No matter what our thoughts on Assange is, he should not be facing prison time for showing people a small glimpse into the war they pay for (sometimes with their lives). Who will ever expose the wrongdoings of the government if the punishment for journalists is 175 years in prison?
