Unremarkable in what way? I don’t often read articles that accurately describe a theological movement, but this one does quite nicely.
I’d say in that way it is remarkable.

I find it encouraging. No matter whether one says Yes or No or Meh to this particular evolution in American dialog, making mindful and deliberate choices matters.

Sounds a little ominous, a bit like a warning, used here the word "disappointing" is rather passive aggressive
