Seems to be the trend; panned by critics, mostly liked by the average consumer. I didn’t think it was that great, as I think most would agree, compared to his other standups (or other Netflix specials e.g Nate Bargatze). Watched it tho.
On first watch, without knowing the structure of the show, it was harder to follow his train of thought and felt uncomfortable at moments. On second watch, it was much funnier and his larger point was easier to grasp. Oddly, I would give it a higher rating after the 2nd watch than after the 1st.
