SEEKING FREELANCER | Remote | three months part or full-time contract | European timezone

Gathersight is building a new type of network for knowledge discovery. We're hoping to launch a public beta version of the product in Q1 next year and are interested in hearing from experienced freelancers or contractors that can make a significant contribution to our project.

The initial team comprises myself and one other person, a machine learning engineer. To date we have concentrated on developing a classification and data capture model, but now we want to broaden the project team and get building. We're looking for an experienced, full-stack developer to take a leading role in the creation of the first version. I'm a non-technical founder so there is plenty of scope to influence technical and product decisions.

Ideally, we're looking for the following attributes:

- plenty of experience and happiness building in React, Typescript, Node, PostgreSQL/MongoDB environments

- an all rounder, happy to contribute to UI, UX and infrastructure decisions

- bring ideas and solutions to improve the product

- open-minded/interested in establishing a long-term relationship with a new product

This will be a full or part-time three month contract, with plenty of potential for future involvement. European timezone is preferable. Thank you!

Please email me richard [at] gathersight.com

Dev agency with experts in Python/Django, Javascript/React, and UI/UX design.

Hi I’m Artur, from Labcodes. We’re a dev shop/consultancy based in Brazil. We’re results-driven and internationally recognized for our 7+ years of partnership with US companies.

We’re experts in Python/Django, Javascript/React, and UI/UX design. Our team is comfortable working together and has a strong engineering culture, which is hard and expensive to build on an internal team.

I know that engaging with an external company, even more if we reach you out on a cold approach, is risky, so I’ll leave some links with social proof of our knowledge and experience here.

Talks we gave in major Python/Django conferences https://lab.codes/talks

Client reviews https://lab.codes/clutch-reviews

React open-source libs we maintain https://github.com/labcodes/react-redux-api-tools https://github.com/labcodes/rel-events

Design portfolio https://lab.codes/design-portifolio

I'd like to be hired to work on open source projects. I've been working on and using open source for about 20 years, principally on the Debian project.
