I refuse to believe this is not a parody:

#8This sounds like political correctness run amok. The initiatives referenced by the term "jedi" are already politically correct, in a good way. To quibble about a memorable acronym is not only silly, it reflects poorly on the publication that chose to print it.

#10This is a much better criticism of Star Wars and Disney than it is the use of JEDI as an acronym. The strongest point they make ahout that, in my opinion, is that the associations with Star Wars might be unnecessarily distracting. Everything else seems like a serious reach to me.
